Why it is intelligent to use a woodstove thermometer.
Instructions for Use
Place on your woodstove as recommended by your dealer or manufacturer, usually a position where the surface is hottest. Attaches magnetically.
Note: If your painted woodstove is new, to avoid marking paint, do not use thermometer until the stove paint has cured completely. One hot fire in a new stove will typically cure paint.
Not every woodstove thermometer is manufactured by the Condar Company. Acquire a genuine Condar thermometer and compare. The bimetallic coil is bigger and better. It is calibrated accurately. And made in Columbus, North Carolina USA with high standards of quality.
SHIPS FROM OTTAWA
"The thermometer as well as the heat and the light from the fire are all helpful indicators of fire safety level of the wood-stove in operation. Greater information brings about greater fire safety and fire prevention".
"I originally purchased the Rutland because it was at the store I was at and it was cheap so I gave it a try. After having poor results with the Rutland I did some research on the internet and read about the Condar line of thermometers and how much the users liked them. So i purchased a Condar Inferno thermometer because it is engineered and calibrated for use on a stove top, also because of the quality that I read about and consistency of temperature readings".
